About the role:

The Front Desk Receptionist is a central part of the Front Office Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests have a smooth arrival and departure experience. As the first and last impression of the hotel, this high-profile department carries a special responsibility. The Front Office is also the natural place where guests’ direct comments, questions, suggests and concerns. 

Job description

What You will do:

·      Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve minor customer complaints and escalate to superiors if necessary.

·      Check guests in and out in an efficient and friendly manner, using guests name whenever possible. Assure that guests are assigned the type of room requested and the correct rate is charged. Arrange for luggage to be delivered to guest room. Issue correct keys to the guest.

·      Respond to all guest requests in all channels in an accurate and timely manner.

·      Assure that all financial and credit procedures are followed. 

·      Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth handling of guest luggage, deliveries and special requests.

·      Accept reservations, changes and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Department Staff. 

Job requirements

What You will bring:

·      Min. 1 year of previous experience from a Front Office of a 5* hotel or similar luxury environment is required.

·      Attention to detail, ability to multi task and previous experience working at high paced and dynamic environment.

·      Outstanding communications skills and command of the English language.

·      Flexible schedule with the ability to work all types of shifts, weekends and holidays.

·      Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, Internet and Opera.
